Das Innere der Sprache

The installation is a reinterpretation of the work “Die Umkehrung einer Materialbeziehung” and explores the connection between language and body. Ceramics evoke mouths, tracheas, tongues, and abstract body parts that serve the sound production within the body. Through the use of technical elements (speakers and exciters), the ceramics become sounding bodies that playfully emit guttural and respiratory sounds circling the letter “A”.
