Real arms around me
Having been struggling with regular sleeping nearly all my life, sleep has become a very fragile and precious thing for me. A night full of sleep and especially with dreaming is a pure gift. But I rarely remember my dreams and even if I do, I tend to forget them quickly. Since the beginning of 2025 I started recording myself when I woke up and still had fragments, words or images of my dreams present: Ghostlike text messages to myself, with a raspy voice trying to clasp what was so vividly present just a moment ago. In this one-hour program I work with this recorded material and explore the intimate state in-between being half asleep and waking up, the imagery of my dreams and the associations they evoke. A sonic sleep diary. A dreamscape. A journey into the subconscious.
